Event branding for AIGA Leadership Retreat national conference.
It was quite an honor when AIGA asked us to brand their Annual Leadership Retreat. The event was to be held at the historic and ostentatiously gilded Amway Grand Plaza Hotel.
Patterns found at the hotel and natural scenes of West Michigan helped us create a visual parody of the movies of Wes Anderson with local flavor. (And what designer doesn't love his movies?)
Then we went junking... and found plaster baby arms.
And ceramic birds.
And many other oddities. All of it came together in emails, banners and on the web.
